Happy Birthday Dedushka Kostya

It is your Grandpa Kostya's birthday and the celebration is at a Russian restaurant. You sleep right through all of the loud music, dancing, and commotion and only wake to spend some quality time with Mommy while nursing!

Every morning we sing, "Good morning to you, good morning to you, good morning dear Scarlette, good morning to you!" Today you woke up smiling! You also discovered your hand! Big day, little lady!

Happy 1 Month!

You are 1 month old today and you slept for 7 hours straight last night! Then to celebrate turning 1 month, you lifted your head 3 times on tummy time! We celebrated with a party at Grandma Toma and Grandpa Kostya's house with all your family!

That Beautiful Smile We've Been Waiting For

You smiled for the first time today! The beautiful smile made its apperance when Mommy sang "Can you Feel the Love Tonight"! It's also the last day of tax season, which means we get Daddy back, and may be another great reason for the arrival of the smile! :)

The Miracle Moby Wrap

For the first couple of months of your life, you will only nap on Mommy! If I try to put you down in your bassinet, your eyes open right up and you are ready to party! Mommy spends many hours on the couch watching movies so that she will not disturb your slumbers by moving her body or her arms. Then we discover a little thing called the Moby Wrap...you fall asleep as soon as you are in it, and Mommy gets to have her hands free to feed herself, fold laundry, and make the bed! And the best part about it, is we get to be close like we were when you lived in Mommy's tummy!
