Visiting Robin

We went to visit Robin today and we were sad to hear that the studio where you and Mommy did yoga prenatally was closing that day. But it was great to see Robin and we will definitely follow her wherever she goes!

Peek-a-Boo with Riley

Everyone plays peek-a-boo with you except for Riley, so you decided to help him join in the fun! You would cover him up with a blanket, then pull it off quickly, and then giggle away! You are so funny!

Head and Poozeek

"Scarlette, where is your head?" You'll point to your head!!

"A gde poozeek?" You'll lift up whatever you're wearing to show off your tummy!!

Just in time to show off for Grandpa Kostya on his birthday tomorrow!

Everett Peek-a-Boo

You took Everett to the park and played peek-a-boo with him from behind a tree! You both thought it was greatest game you've ever thought up!

Jo and Red are Getting Married

You let Jo know how excited you were by celebrating at her bridal shower today! You even helped Mommy write a note (Mommy wrote it, you decorated it) for Jo to read on the morning of her wedding!

1 year and 1 month

You are 1 year and 1 month old today! You are so great at blowing kisses now, not only do you put your hand to your mouth, you also straighten it so the kiss can fly to us!

New Words

Today you figured out how to call your bestest little buddy - "Lai!" you say, whenever you want Riley's attention!  

You also starting saying "OK" and "all done" when you over playing a certain game!

Hugs!!!

You and Daddy were playing the hiding peek-a-boo game again, this time from behind the couch. When Daddy popped out and you were running away laughing, I said "Mama save you! Mama hug!" and you ran up to me with your arms wide open and gave me a HUG!! The hug I have been waiting for since you were born!! Then every time Daddy would pop out from behind the couch you would run and give me a hug! My heart totally melted today!

Organization

You love to organize! Today you loved putting all of your toys from the floor into your wooden box, then dumping them out so that you could put them back in again!

You also said "hi" and waved! And you took your hair brush and immediately started brushing your hair!

Peek-a-Boo!

On our drive to sadik I was blowing kisses to you in the mirror and you figured how to blow kisses back!

In the evening, when Daddy got home you two came up with a really fun game! Daddy would hide outside of your door and you would go looking for him...

when he would pop out with a "peek-a-boo" you would run away laughing! Then you two would do it all over again!

Blossoming Imagination

You are so creative! On our daily walk you found a twig that was shaped like a head band and you tried to put it on your head! Then, at home, you came up with a game (a cleaning game nonetheless) where you would grab a toy, run across the room to put it on a shelf, then run across the room to grab another toy to put on the shelf, and on and on!

Loving Bathtime Again

At first you weren't too excited about the transition from your sink baths into tub baths, but today you sat down in the water and splashed and played and had a great time!
