Mommy & Me

Since it is summer, you and I have a lot of time to spend together so we are starting our first Mommy & Me class - it is at a Jewish temple called Adat Elohim. Since Mommy and Daddy missed out on a lot of the wonderful traditions that come with being Jewish we hope that you will be able experience them for yourself!

A Very Important Conversation

Wings like a Chicken

If I say "Are you a chicken?" or "puck puck" you flap your elbows like one!

Teeth!

Your two bottom teeth came when you were 9 months old, and your two top ones didn't come until you were 14 months, but now your teeth are sprouting like crazy! You are working on your 10th tooth, which is also your fourth molar! And although teething is no fun, you look more and more adorable with each new chomper!

Your Heart Belongs to Daddy

Especially on Father's Day!

You also showed off your bilingualism today when you started saying "upalo" when things fell! Your first major Russian word!

Stereo Smartie

You love music so you know exactly which two buttons to push, and exactly in what order, in order to get the music going on our huge stereo! Future engineer or musician maybe?

Stop and Smell the Flowers

You love to smell flowers, which is always followed by an "aahhh" of delight (the same sound you make after gulping down some thirst-quenching water!)

Mommy: "Scarlette, don't put the leaves in your mouth."
You: "Wwwwwwhy?"
Mommy: "Because they're dirty."
You: "Da!"

Taking a Walk with Riley

You and your bestest buddy go on a walk, and you hold his leash all by yourself!

Bilingual at 14 months!

We know you know lots of body parts in English (nose, eyes, ears, teeth, toes), but today you surprised us by showing off that you know them in Russian too! Daddy asked you "pokazat' ushko" and you got right to it!
